The Washoe County coroner has identified the man who died in a shooting near the Seasons Inn last weekend. 

The Medical Examiner's Office says 40-year-old La Trell Speech died on scene. Police say he was found dead inside a car that crashed near the 500 block of West Street, around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. The investigation shows La Tell might have been shot prior to the crash.

On Monday, 38-year-old Sean Steinerg was charged with murder in connection with Speech's death. 

No one else was hurt.

Police say they arrested Steinberg after witness interviews. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
