The Washoe County Sheriff's Office says they are unveiling a new Karma Box outside the Sheriff's Office on Wednesday afternoon.
Karma Boxes are filled with food, first aid and hygiene items that are freely available to those in need and have been installing throughout Reno.
“I believe the idea that when we make an effort to help those in need, good Karma will shine its light on our community as a whole,” Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said. “I invite all Washoe County residents to join me in this effort.”
The unveiling ceremony will happen at the Sheriff's Office on Parr Boulevard on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
