UPDATE: The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office says they have identified a man who died in a motorcycle crash on Friday morning. 

They said 40-year-old Jeremy Rejon of Sun Valley died at the scene.

They said the cause and manner of death is still under investigation.

Reno Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash near Sutro & 6th Streets early Friday morning. 

Authorities say the unidentified 40-year-old man was driving north on Sutro around 4:30 a.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle.

Police say he collided with the sidewalk then hit a guide wire and light pole. 

The unidentified rider died at the scene. 

Authorities say drugs and/or alcohol may be involved.Â
