From Waste Management of Nevada:
As another political season comes to an end, Waste Management of Nevada encourages the community to recycle political signs, collateral materials and direct mailings received throughout the campaign season.
“We encourage residents to recycle all of the political materials possible,” said Sarah Polito, Waste Management of Nevada spokesperson. “The signs have lined our streets and the mailers have filled our mailboxes, and now we encourage residents in the Truckee Meadows to take the time to recycle these materials.”
Waste management will accept campaign signs at the Waste Management Recycling Center:
1100 E Commercial Row
Reno, NV 89512
Monday through Friday • 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Before dropping the signage off at the Waste Management Recycling Center, please remove any posts, stakes, frames or backing materials, along with staples, nails and zip ties from the signage. There is no cost to recycle these items at the Recycling Center. If you live in Reno, you can deposit your direct mailers and fliers in your single-stream recycling cart.
