By Tuesday, highs will have warmed into the low 80s. It cannot be overstated how strong this high pressure over the Southwest is going to be. Highs will hit the upper 80s in some places Wednesday through Friday. These aforementioned highs will blow previous records set in the upper 70s out of the water.
Thankfully, the air will be dry that accompanies this warmth, with dewpoints hanging on in the 20s and 30s. That should keep the heat advisories away for the week and allow for more manageable warmth!
