Annual Feeding Families Food Giveaway Begins December 1 |

Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is once again donating meals to families in need through the St. Vincent's Food Pantry in its annual Feeding Families Food Giveaway event.

The organization will be giving away more than 4,400 holiday meals to families in need locally and throughout rural Nevada.

Meals include a ham, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed potatoes, bread, and a dessert. Families will also receive a variety of staples and produce to sustain them beyond the holiday meals.

In order to comply with state COVID-19 guidelines, the event will begin pickup for local families in the Reno and Sparks area Tuesday, December 1. The pickups will continue through December 11.

Families who pre-register will receive an appointment date and time to pick up their food packages.

To register for the event, visit St. Vincent's Food Pantry at 500 East Fourth Street before November 30.
