The parking lot will remain open for non-motorized, carry-in boat access.
The Sand Harbor boat ramp will close this Friday, August 5 due to low water conditions. This closure will prevent boats from being damaged during launching and also protect the end of launch lanes from harm.
Increased water levels at Lake Tahoe have allowed for the opening of the boat ramp at Sand Harbor. For now, only boats under 14 feet will be able to launch.
