The Carson City Sheriff's Office (CCSO) says they are asking for information on several vehicle burglaries that happened in Carson City during the month of October.

They said on October 13, several car burglaries were reported in the Silver Oak area on Turner Court, Drysdale Court and Sarratea Drive. They said car windows were broken out with an unknown object.

They said on the same day, additional car burglaries were reported on Molly Drive in the Northridge area.

CCSO says earlier on October 8, two vehicle burglaries were reported at the Park and Ride on Highway 50, west of Highway 580 and farther up Highway 50 and Clear Creek Road at a trailhead.

They want to remind residents not to leave valuables in their cars such as wallets, purses, credit cards and firearms, especially while at park and rides or trailheads.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact CCSO at (775) 887-2677 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. You will remain anonymous. A $250 reward is being offered.Â
