Carson City Historical Landmark To Be Preserved, Possibly

Another historical business closes its doors in Carson City, this time Cafe at Adele's.

That doesn’t mean we will have to say goodbye to the building too, at least according to the Carson City Historical Society.

“We want to keep Adele’s in Carson City, we want to relocate it, have it refurbished to its original form,” says Donna McLaren with the Historical Society.

What to you may look like an old house, for many means a connection to the past that shouldn't be lost. As you'd expect, a place like this has a fan base -- three people have shown interest in taking that building.

With a little over a month left to move the structure before it gets demolished, the hope is the building stays in Carson City.

“We do not want the building to be bought and removed from Carson City,” says McLaren.
