North Tahoe Fire Protection District says a shelter in place order is now lifted after an earlier gas leak in Carnelian Bay.
Residents on the 4000 block of Roberts Avenue down to North Lake Boulevard were asked to shelter in place, but crews have since mitigated the gas leak. Crews say a snowplow hit a stake, which ruptured a gas main.
