Washoe County Deputies say a man wanted after fleeing authorities after a chase in north Reno Monday afternoon was taken into custody early Thursday morning.Â
Deputies say 40-year-old Kevin Alvin Norton surrendered himself to a local bail bondsman. Detectives had been searching for him after an attempted traffic stop near Clear Acre and Scottsdale in Sun Valley.Â
In addition to the original misdemeanor warrants against Norton, deputies say he is also now charged with reckless driving, destruction of property and a felony charge of eluding a police officer.Â
Deputies say the original misdemeanors charges are for domestic battery and a traffic charge through the Nevada Highway Patrol.Â
