Authorities have released more details about a hit-and-run crash on Pyramid Way in Spanish Springs last Friday morning.

It happened near Robert Banks Boulevard, at around 12:30 a.m.

NHP says a preliminary investigation states that a silver Honda CR-V was stopped northbound on Pyramid Highway, north of Robert Banks Boulevard in the left-hand lane. A white Dodge Ram pickup was also heading north on Pyramid Highway in the left lane, approaching the CR-V when it hit the back of the Honda, then left the scene.

NHP says an off-duty Sparks Police Officer saw the crash and followed the pickup northbound. They say when the Dodge pickup stopped, the driver was contacted by deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and NHP Troopers.

That's when 31-year-old Molly Savannah Foster was arrested on suspicion of DUI, open container, and other charges related to the crash.

The driver of the Honda, 32-year-old Eduardo Alejandro Martinez-Osuna remains in critical condition.

NHP tells us Foster and Martinez-Osuna were in a relationship, but not married.
