The Detwiler fire burning in Mariposa County, California is now 50% contained after burning more than 76,000-acres.Â
The wildfire is burning Lake McClure. Cal Fire says 63 homes and 67 minor structures have been destroyed since the fire sparked Sunday July 16. All evacuation orders have been lifted.Â
The fire is blowing smoke into the Truckee Meadows. Locals are advised to stay hydrated, keep the AC on if available, and avoid using whole-house fans and swamp coolers.
