Many area businesses are offering deals for military members for Veterans Day.

Great Basin Brewing Company will honor all U.S. Armed Forces members by giving away a free pint of craft beer or soft drink this Veterans Day, Monday, November 11th from 11 AM to 9 PM when they present a valid Military ID. The deal happens at both locations, 5525 S. Virginia Street in Reno and at 846 Victorian Avenue in Sparks. 

Famous Dave’s will offer a free BBQ plate to veterans with a valid military ID from 11 AM to 10 PM. The Veterans Guest House will be on-site collecting tips and donations, which will provide temporary housing to our U.S. Military Veterans and their families when they are undergoing medical treatment in the Reno/Sparks area. Famous Dave’s is located at 4925 Kietzke Lane.

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe will offer free skiing for all veterans and military. 

Jiffy Lube is offering a free Jiffy Lube Value Oil Change Plus for all Active & Retired Service Members with a Military I.D.

The Carson Nugget will offer one free All American Breakfast at the All American Eatery between 6AM – 11AM and two FREE comedy club tickets to see comedian Rob Sherwood headline the Carson Comedy Club on November 15 & 16, 2019 by signing up for the Carson Nugget’s Veteran’s Club. In honor of veterans, RTC will offer free rides to everyone on all RTC transit services. RTC transit and the RTC Regional Connector will operate on a regular schedule on Veterans Day. To plan your trip, visit rtcwashoe.com/public-transportation. 

Texas Roadhouse is offering free lunch for veterans and active military 11 AM – 4 PM at its location at 150 Damonte Ranch Parkway in Reno. 

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is offering veterans a complimentary breakfast or lunch buffet at Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille on Veterans Day from 8 AM until 3 PM. 

All Port of Subs locations will donate 20% of each purchase to the Veterans Guest House. 

The Club Cal Neva‘s Top Deck Restaurant will give out free prime rib meals to all veterans and active service members from 6 AM to 10 PM. All veterans and active service members must show their veteran or military I.D. to redeem the meal. Free parking is also available for veterans and active military who show their military service I.D. or a Best Bet Club card. The offer is limited to one per person.

Cutting Edge will offer free haircuts for veterans and active military from 9 AM – 6 PM at its Carson City location at 3699 South Carson Street. Call 775-884-1011 for more information. 

THE ROW – the Eldorado, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy --  is holding a free breakfast or lunch buffet at The Buffet at Eldorado on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 between the hours of 7:45 AM and 2 PM In addition, Starbucks at the Eldorado and Silver Legacy will also offer a free 12 oz. coffee to veterans.

California Pizza Kitchen, inside the Grand Sierra Resort, will give a free entree and a drink to veterans and active military with a valid ID.

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is offering veterans a complimentary breakfast or lunch buffet at Toucan Charlie's Buffet & Grille on Veterans Day from 8 AM until 3 PM. Just bring their military ID, military spouse ID, or DD-214 to the Monarch Rewards desk on Monday 11/11 and be a Monarch Rewards members (or join for free) to get a buffet voucher.

The Fox Brewpub in Carson City is offering a free burger and draft beer with valid military ID. They're located at 310 south Carson Street.

Kohl’s is doubling its Military Monday discount to thank all active and former military personnel, veterans and their families. The 30% off in-store discount is double what Kohl’s offers year-round for Military Mondays, where all active and former military personnel, veterans and their families receive a 15% in-store discount.
