Douglas County deputies have identified the driver killed last Friday in Zephyr Heights when his vehicle crashed through a garage back wall and then plummeted approximately 80 feet down an embankment.
Deputies say 55-year-old Jeffrey Alan Davis died of blunt force trauma just before 11:45am Friday. His vehicle came to rest against a tree.
The incident is still under investigation as to what caused the vehicle to travel through the back of the garage.
