The Sparks Police Department says crews responded to a crash at El Rancho Drive and Oddie Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
Officials said a sing car struck the light pole and the lights will be on flash for several hours until they can be repaired.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
