The Food Bank of Northern Nevada Board of Directors has announced it has selected Nicole Lamboley to be the organization's new president & CEO.
“I am thrilled for the opportunity to lead this organization that I already care so much about,” said Lamboley about her new position. “The Food Bank of Northern Nevada has seen tremendous growth throughout the last 15 years and I am excited about the challenge to bring it to the next level.”
Lamboley has served on the board of directors for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. She has served in several leadership positions in state including the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Secretary of State and the Nevada Division of Insurance. She was also administrator of Child Health Institute of Renown Health.
“We are delighted that Nicole Lamboley has assumed her position as president and CEO of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada,” said Steve Kane, chair of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada Board of Directors. “Her knowledge of food banking, passion for helping the community, combined with her leadership skills and ability to bring people together, is the perfect mix of experience to lead our 35-year organization, which delivers 15.2 million meals per year.”
Lamboley’s predecessor, Al Brislain has retired from the organization after a 42 year career in Food Banking.
