Fort Churchill Fire in Lyon County Fully Contained; No Structures Threatened

Sierra Front says a 200-acre lightning-sparked wildfire in Central Lyon County is now fully contained.

Lyon County says no structures are threatened or damaged. 

Officials say power may be disrupted in this area. 

Sierra Front says the Ft. Churchill Fire started around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday on Cowboy Court in Silver Springs.

Lyon County Dispatch also says a few other lightning-sparked wildfires started Wednesday night in Dayton and east of Fernley.
