The two events will occur on Sunday, September 12th from 12-4 PM at Les Schwab Tire Center -- 116 E. Main Street, Quincy, CA, and Monday September 13th from 12-3 PM at 611 Mt. Aksum Road, Somerset, CA, 95684/
This will be the 5th truck of aid sent to the survivors of the fires and to date, the Global Empowerment Mission has sent over $1M in aid and organized multiple community relief boots on the ground efforts with partners.
"We are boots on the ground disaster relief operating on multiple fronts, and are happy to be back in California for our next distribution here. The need is great, and we are here during each phase of the relief efforts. We could not do this without the support of all our partners especailly the gracious support of the UC Group who has graciously donated all transportation from our Miami warehouse to California" - Michael Capponi, President & Founder, Global Empowerment Mission.Â
The Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to date has helped thousands recover from unforeseen disasters, and has now proactively responded to national and international disasters such as the CA wildfires, Texas Fires, earthquakes in Haiti, Surfside Tower Collapse, and much more.
"It is our company culture to lend helping hand, and at UC Group, we take pride in being not only a freight forwarding resource at large, but also our drivers feel a sense of purpose being honorary first responders at these aid drives and deliveries.
