Storey County deputies say a Reno man reported missing by his wife last week has been found dead in Storey County.
Deputies say hikers found the body of Matt Trippett and that say it appears he died of a self-inflicted wound, but an autopsy will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
On Friday, a Reno woman reached out to friends and family on Facebook for help in finding her husband who went missing last Monday.
Trippett, husband to Jamie Agee Trippett and father to their twin boys was last seen on April 30th around 3:30 p.m.
Jamie Agee Trippett said in part on the Facebook post: "Please, please, please look around as you are out and about and direct message me or call Reno Police if you see his vehicle anywhere. We miss him so much and are so saddened by his disappearance. We need him home. Thank you for your help."
