Junk King of Reno is a local waste removal business that's helping people forget about their ex this Valentine's Day.
Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. they'll have a truck in the parking lot of Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que in Reno and you can drop off any of your ex's stuff - or anything that reminds you of your ex - for free.
"We came up with the concept of dump your ex," said Brian Cassidy of Junk King of Reno. "Everyone is always worried about the Valentine's, the dinners and the treats, so we figured, what about the people that don't have anybody or kind of want to get rid of their ex's stuff and start over? So we came up with this concept of dump your ex and basically bringing down anything you still have from your ex, you want to get rid of, throw it in the truck and be on your way. As long as it's not a TV!"
This is the second year for the event, a way to help the lovelorn make a fresh start this Valentine's Day.
"It's a good thing if you're going out to dinner with your girlfriends, or your guys, and you can talk about it," Cassidy said. "Getting rid of that stuff should make for a better night."
