The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says a Las Vegas man was sentenced a total of 22 years in prison after he pleaded guilty of drug and gun-related charges.Â
The DA's Office says 28-year-old Harvey Reyes-Parrish must serve eight years and six months in prison before he's eligible for parole.Â
His sentencing stems from a 2019 Reno case, when prosecutors say Reyes-Parrish and two accomplices coerced two runaway girls into prostitution. About a month later, he was later charged with the above crimes after a traffic stop.
Two other people connected to the same case, 26-year-old Jennifer Sandoval-Yuriar and 20-year-old Kayla Pace also pleaded guilty.Â
Sandoval-Yuriar pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. She was sentenced to a suspended term of 2-5 years in prison.Â
Pace pleaded guilty to one count of coercion with use of physical force and was sentenced to one year in prison.Â
