If you've ever used Yelp, you've probably seen some good and bad reviews.
Grace Hayes, a local singer and song writer has been incorporating those bad reviews into her music. She has gone viral for her videos, on a popular app called Tik Tok.
Hayes says it all started after she saw a funny McDonald's review.
"This woman had frequented a McDonald's. She said, 'hey you know the quality is getting pretty poor, and I'm concerned.' It made me laugh how she worded it, so I thought hey this would be good material for a song," says Hayes.
Hayes now has close to 75,000 follows on Tik Tok, with more than a million likes.
She recently has been recognized nationally for her work.
"It started with Eater, than a Canada newspaper picked it up, and then Time. Which was really awesome for me and I'm super excited," says Hayes.
Hayes says she wants to keep making these videos to inspire youth that frequent the app.
"I remember growing up and looking up to song writers, and laughing at their content. I'm really happy because it's my turn to make kids smile," says Hayes.
Hayes also says if anyone is out there looking for a singer or writer, she's available for hire.
"Hey you know what, if anyone wants to hire me that'd be great. You know I love my call center job but I really want to write," says Hayes.
