Saturday, Macy's Backstage store opened inside the Macy's store at Meadowood Mall in Reno.
Along with discount clothing, the off price store has items that the regular Macy's stores might not carry like pet toys and groceries.
Crews carved out more than 12,000 square feet within the Macy’s department store on the second floor to make room for the news store.
