Sparks police say the man who drove his car into a tree on Howard Drive on Tuesday has been booked for DUI.Â
At approximately 3:36 a.m. Sparks Police responded to report that a vehicle crashed into a building on the 500 block of Howard Drive.Â
Police say the driver of a red Hyundai heading northbound on Howard Drive left the road, jumped the curb, crossed the sidewalk and struck a tree next to a home. According to officers, there was no damage to the building and no injures have been reported.Â
The driver of the Hyundai has been identified as Oscar Zambrano. He was taken to Washoe County Jail and booked for Driving Under the Influence.
