A suspect that was convicted for a murder from June 2018 has been sentenced to life in prison on Monday.

23-year-old Quentin Moore has the eligibility for parole after serving a minimum of 20 years. He was sentenced for the murder count on Monday, while he will be sentenced for all his other charges on January 8, 2020.

A jury convicted him last Friday.

After a day and a half of deliberations, the jury found Moore and Jamil Geronimo guilty of first degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Paul Dobbins.  

Moore was also found guilty on the charges of battery with the use of a deadly weapon, the discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, and the challenge to fight.

23-year-old Geronimo was also found guilty of battery with the use of a deadly weapon, the discharge of a firearm within or from a vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon, the discharge of a firearm within or close to a structure and carrying a concealed weapon.

22-year-old Tyler Hernandez was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and not guilty on the count of battery with a deadly weapon or the discharge of a firearm within a vehicle.

Hernandez and Geronimo are set to be sentenced in January of 2020.

All three pleaded not guilty in March of this year.
