The Washoe County coroner has identified the motorcycle rider who died after a crash on Pyramid Way early Wednesday morning. 

The ME's Office says 23-year-old Christopher Hakin of Sparks died after the crash, which happened around 8:30 a.m. near Roberta Lane. 

Police say Hakin was heading south when a car turning west onto Pyramid hit the motorcycle. 

Hakin later died at the hospital.

Police say the driver of the black car was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries and is cooperating with the investigation.
