One man is dead following a pursuit early Saturday morning on North Carson Street at the merger with I-580.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office says officers had been pursuing the motorcyclist northbound from the downtown area.
Officers lost sight of him in a road construction zone on Lakeview Hill.
As patrol units searched the area more thoroughly, they discovered the crash location around 3:45 a.m.
Officers determined the adult male driver had died at the scene. No other injuries or riders were reported.
This accident is being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol, at the request of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
