Mt. Rose Ski Resort has opened for the winter season. The resort says the recent storm brought 17 inches of snow and the temperatures allow them to keep making more.
So far open terrain is limited to one trail accessed by the Flying Jenny conveyor lift on the main lodge side of the resort.
The Lodgepole Café, Timbers Bar, 431 Sports, and the repair shop are open, but there no rentals or lessons at this time.
The resort will be open from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
