NDOC Seeks Minimum Security Inmate Walkaway Recaptured by Churchill County Deputies

UPDATE: 

NDOC says the inmate was captured by the Churchill County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday. He is being transported to Northern Nevada Correctional Center, a medium-security facility in Carson City. The warrant for his arrest has been cleared.

The Nevada Department of Corrections needs your help finding a minimum security inmate who walked away from the Stewart Conservation Camp in Carson City on Tuesday, May 12th.

NDOC says 29-year-old Alfonso Pinuelas-Duran arrived from Washoe County on March 3rd and was transferred to Stewart Conservation Camp where he started serving a 72-180 month sentence for DUI. 

The Hispanic man is 5'11 inches tall, 165 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

He has scars on his left hand, thumb, and forearm.

A warrant has been issued for him.
