NDOW Seeks Assistance in Poaching Case

From the Nevada Department of Wildlife

Nevada Department of Wildlife Game Wardens are seeking the public's assistance with the poaching of a mule deer doe on Broken Arrow Lane in Pleasant Valley, just east of Spring Creek at the base of the Ruby Mountains.

The poaching occurred on February 20th at approximately 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Two men were observed loading a mule deer doe that had been shot in a residential yard into a bright or electric blue late model Dodge pickup truck.

“We are currently following up leads,” says Game Warden Matt Glenn. “But we would appreciate the public's help with any information they may have to help us fill in some of the blanks.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Operation Game Thief at 1-800-992-3030 or the Elko NDOW office at 775-777-2300.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information they provide leads to a conviction.
