Nevada Humane Society Requests Cat Food Donations

Nevada Humane Society is seeking donations of cat food for the hundreds of cats currently in their care.

All donations are tax-deductible and can be dropped off to the shelter in Reno, at 2825 Longley Lane, open daily from 11am to 6:30pm.

On a regular basis, Nevada Humane Society cares for nearly 300 cats a day, which includes cats residing at the shelter and those in foster care. In addition, Nevada Humane Society offers temporary pet food assistance to people who are in need—therefore helping people keep their pets instead of having to relinquish them to the shelter, a win for everyone.

Specific cat food needs include:

• Canned or dry (kibble) adult cat food

• Poultry or beef flavors preferred

• Any name brand welcome; medium grade food preferred

• Dog food is NOT needed at this time

Donations may be delivered daily, between 11am and 6:30pm, in Reno to 2825 Longley Lane or in Carson City to 549 Airport Road. Food can also be shipped via Amazon (use AmazonSmile to benefit us too!) or Chewy.com. Food should be shipped to the Reno location.
