NDOW Seeks Assistance in Poaching Case

For those of you interested in hunting big game in the silver state this year, the tag application process opens Monday, March 23, 2015. The Nevada Department of Wildlife wants to remind you this includes the hunting of mule deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, mountain goat, black bear and various species of bighorn sheep.

Deer, elk and antelope offer options for male and female as well as several options for weapon type including rifle, archery and muzzleloader. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 20. Online applicants have until 11 p.m. to submit applications. Hunters can choose to use traditional paper applications but they must use the U.S. Postal Service to submit their applications which must be received by the Wildlife Administrative Services no later than 5 p.m. on April 20.
