Three snowmobilers are recovering in the hospital after a high-speed crash west of Davis Lake on Sunday.
Plumas County Search and Rescue says when they arrived, the three people were being transported by several Good Samaritan snowmobilers who found the victims.
From there, SAR and Forest Service law enforcement transported them the rest of the way out by snow cat and tracked UTV. Ambulances then took them to a nearby hospital.
There’s no current update on their conditions.
