The body of a 49-year-old man from Davis was found at Rollins Reservoir on Thursday.

In a post on Facebook, the Placer County Sheriff's Office says they found the man using remotely operated robots. It was found 170 feet underwater.

The search began following 911 calls on June 24th just after 11:30 a.m.

Calls were made to both the Placer County and Nevada County regional dispatch centers as Rollins Reservoir falls between both counties' jurisdictions.

Initial reports indicated that a man and two women were thrown from a jet ski. The man never resurfaced. The two women were rescued by a paddleboarder.
