Crews are working to fix a leak in several areas of South Lake Tahoe, with estimated restoration later in the evening.
South Lake Tahoe PUD says the following streets will be without water:
* O’Malley to Fountain
* Fountain to Carson
* Pinter to Carson
* Kubel to Carson
* Alma to Carson
It says, “when water service is restored, flush your waterline with an outside hose spigot or run a faucet without a screen on cold (such as a bathtub) until your water runs clear.”
There’s no immediate word on what caused the leak in the first place.
