A joint operation between the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Office resulted in 26 arrests, along with the seizure of guns and drugs.

Operation Folsom Blues 3.0 was carried out on the West Slope and in the South Lake Tahoe Basin, according to a post from the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office on Facebook.

It happened on the nights of September 18 and 19.

Teams served pre-planned search warrants, conducted targeted probation compliance checks, and carried out operations in places identified as crime hot spots.

Preliminary results from the operation show 26 arrests, 10 guns seized, more than 157 grams of methamphetamine seized, more than 11 grams of fentanyl seized, and more than 14 grams of cocaine recovered.

"The goal of the operation was to disrupt narcotics distribution, recover crime guns, and reduce overdose and violence risk through coordinated warrants, targeted compliance checks, and interdiction guided by shared real-time intelligence," said the post in part.
