Plumas County Sheriff's Office reporting missing 15-year-old Penelope Chavez has been found safe.
They thanked the public for sharing information that helped support the effort to find her.

The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing 15-year-old runaway girl.
Officials say Penelope Chavez, who also goes by Penny, was last seen leaving a home in Chester on the evening of July 9th. They believe she could be in the area of Ash Street and Hall Street in Susanville.
Penny has brown eyes with dyed red hair. She is 5’6” and weighs 115 pounds.
