Mike Ginsburg, a candidate for State Senate in Nevada's District 15, has conceded the race to his opponent, Angie Taylor.
Taylor, a Democrat, holds a roughly 4,000 vote advantage over Republican Ginsburg, according to results published by the Nevada Secretary of State's Office.
She leads 53.6% to 46.4%.
"This campaign has been an incredible journey, and I am deeply grateful to every one of you who supported me and gave your time and energy," said Ginsburg in a statement. "From the volunteers who knocked on doors to the families who welcomed me into their homes and those who had great conversations with me at the door or at events, you have truly inspired me, and I am humbled by the trust you placed in me."
Ginsburg also thanked his family and supporters for their support throughout the campaign.
