The Postal Service says that having the mail processed in Sacramento, it will save them up to $4 million in its first year.
The decision was made possible due to the identification of enhanced efficiencies in proposed operational improvements. Â
The bill also would allow the public to appeal proposed USPS closures, consolidations, and downsizing.Â
