Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue responded to a brush fire in Sun Valley at 4th Avenue and Madeiros Drive on Monday.
Although buildings were threatened, none were affected by the fire, with the exception of a fence.
No injuries have been reported.
According to TMFR, the fire was caused by excavation work behind the property.
