Dorothy McAlinden Park had its grand reopening Saturday morning.
The park is now Reno's first fully accessible playground for people with disabilities.
It took months of renovations to make the necessary changes.
"There's equipment for children in wheelchairs and different swings for children with different abilities, different slides and things of that nature. So it's really inclusive for everyone," said Ward 4 City Councilmember Meghan Ebert.
Two food trucks were on hand offering free food at Saturday's event, and pumpkins were provided for kids to decorate during the festivities.
