Over the weekend, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office posted a drone video on social media of a group shooting illegally and unsafely.

"The activity occurred in a congested area, and the manner in which the firearms were handled was irresponsible and extremely dangerous, posing a serious risk to community members and to those recklessly discharging the firearms. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident, and enforcement action was taken by deputies," the Sheriff's Office said in its post.

They also said the Washoe County Sheriff's Office continues to proactively monitor congested and restricted areas, including the use of drone technology, to identify unsafe or illegal shooting more efficiently and allow deputies to respond quickly before someone gets hurt.
