Jury Finds Trump Liable In Civil Suit Brought By E. Jean Carroll
The 79-year-old writer sued the former president, alleging he raped her in a department store dressing room in the mid 1990’s.

Trump did not attend the previous trial in the case last May, when a jury found he had sexually abused and defamed Carroll.
The posting of the bond was a necessary step to delay payment of the award until the 2nd Circuit can rule.
