A 45-year-old Lemmon Valley man is facing two child lewdness charges after being arrested last month. 

Washoe County deputies say they originally learned of the incident in June of this year. After that initial report, Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives took over the investigation.

Detectives then arrested the suspect, Michael Purple, Jr. on October 12, 2021, for multiple sex offenses involving a minor.

This is an ongoing investigation.
