The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is inviting the public to its annual Incline Community Picnic this Saturday.
The event offers a family-friendly day of free food, interactive law enforcement exhibits, and community engagement at Aspen Grove and Village Green, located at 960 Lakeshore Boulevard in Incline Village.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, and an opportunity to meet members of the Sheriff’s Office special teams.
Attendees can interact with units such as K9, RAVEN, Mounted Horse Units, SWAT, and Search and Rescue, as well as explore a variety of public safety vehicles and resources.
The event also includes booths from community agencies, offering valuable information on local services and safety resources.
The Sheriff’s Office is partnering with several organizations to host the event, including the Incline Village General Improvement District, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, U.S. Coast Guard, Nevada State Police, Nevada Division of Wildlife, Raley's, and the Hyatt Lake Tahoe.
This picnic is held each year as a way for the community to build connections between law enforcement and residents, and encourages people to meet deputies, learn about public safety efforts, and enjoy a day of activities in the heart of Incline Village.
