Parkinson Support Center

Parkinson Support Center of Northern Nevada is holding its annual Movement Fair next Thursday to connect people living with Parkinson’s disease to local resources.

The movement will include:

  • 30 local resource exhibitors offering services, education, and support for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners
  • Interactive opportunities to learn about movement, nutrition, speech, and other aspects of living well with Parkinson’s
  • Community connection with others navigating the challenges of Parkinson’s disease

The event's keynote speaker is Dr. Laurie Mischley, who will give a speech called, “How Much Does What I Eat Matter?”

PSCNN says, this event is free to the community and no registration is required.

The 4th Annual Movement Fair is on Thursday, September 18 from 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. at the Reno Elks Lodge.
