Parkinson Support Center of Northern Nevada is holding its annual Movement Fair next Thursday to connect people living with Parkinson’s disease to local resources.
The movement will include:
- 30 local resource exhibitors offering services, education, and support for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners
- Interactive opportunities to learn about movement, nutrition, speech, and other aspects of living well with Parkinson’s
- Community connection with others navigating the challenges of Parkinson’s disease
The event's keynote speaker is Dr. Laurie Mischley, who will give a speech called, “How Much Does What I Eat Matter?”
PSCNN says, this event is free to the community and no registration is required.
The 4th Annual Movement Fair is on Thursday, September 18 from 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. at the Reno Elks Lodge.
