The Cares Campus in Reno has officially closed their winter overflow beds for the season.Â
Washoe County says the Nevada Cares Campus Resource Center will still be open 24 hours a day until next month as a warming center.
After the first of the month - the center will still serve clients without a designated bed.
The resource center provides laundry, showers, meals and other services to individuals.
Starting May 1, the resource center will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
The county says a total of 15,868 overflow bed nights were offered at the Nevada Cares Campus and Our Place shelters this winter – the cumulative number over the course of the season.
