Property tax bills for the new tax year are ready for Carson City residents. The new tax year runs from July 1 of this year to June 30 of 2026.
In a release, the Carson City Treasurer’s Office says property owners should begin to receive their property tax bills in the mail within the next 17 days.
If any property owners have questions or if they haven't received their bill by Thursday, July 31, they should reach out to the Carson City Treasurer’s Office at (775) 887-2092 or treasurer@carson.org.
Due dates for bills throughout the new tax year are set out below.
- 1st Installment: Monday, 8/18/25 (the third Monday of August 2025)
- 2nd Installment: Monday, 10/6/25 (the first Monday of October 2025)
- 3rd Installment: Monday, 1/5/26 (the first Monday of January 2026)
- 4th Installment: Monday, 3/2/26 (the first Monday of March 2026)
Property owners have multiple options to pay property taxes. They include paying online at this link.
People can also pay using online bill pay through their bank, or call (888)837-9291and follow the voice prompts.
Payment in person or by mail is also possible at the Treasurer's Office at 201 North Carson Street, Suite 5, in Carson City.
There is also a green payment box located at the east side of City Hall at 201 North Carson Street.
