If you have any kids or know of any young people who need dental work done, the Community Health Alliance should be able to help them out.
The CHA will be holding three Mobile Pediatric Dental Clinics in February for young people ages 0-20.
Services provided include oral exams, x-rays, dental cleanings, fluoride treatment, sealants and fillings, and hygiene/nutritional instruction.
The clinics scheduled for February are:
- February 6 from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at CHA's Nell J. Redfield Health Center in Sun Valley
- February 20 from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at CHA's Nell J. Redfield Health Center on Neil Road in Reno
- February 27 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at CHA's Nell J. Redfield Health Center in Sun Valley
According to organizers, appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
CHA accepts Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance; they also offer discounted services for uninsured patients.
